An Earby girl is arranging a charity concert to thank Pendleside Hospice for aiding a community minded man who died in 2014.

Thirteen-year-old Jody Holden has decided to hold the concert on Saturday, March 14th, to raise money for the hospice who cared for Earby man and family friend Malcolm Harling.

Mr Harling was a volunteer driver for the Earby Community Minibus and the treasurer at All Saints’ Church in Earby.

Jody will perform with her friends in the Arden Youth Choir on the night and a quality evening of entertainment is assured.

Jody said: “I am organising this concert to raise money and thank the hospice for their incredible work. I am hoping to raise a good amount of money and for people to enjoy themselves.”

The charity concert will be held at All Saints’ Church between 7-30pm and 9-30pm. Adult tickets are priced at £7 and concessions are £4.
