Park High School’s China exchange programme has continued to flourish after 17 Chinese students came to Colne.

As part of the successful scheme, now in its third year, students experienced lessons, toured the area and visited Haworth and the Bronte Museum, York Minster and city centre and celebrated Chinese New Year at Bowland High School. Colne pupils visited China in November.

Mrs Casper-Smith, Head of Upper School, said: “The Exchange Programme allows students to experience another culture as well as seeing the differences between the education systems. We hope that we can learn from each other and strengthen understanding between Chinese and British students.”
