Children from Smartypants Nursery on Romney Street in Nelson took part in “I Want to Be...Week” to raise money for Save the Children.

The pupils dressed up as something that they want to be when they are older – and brought in a donation for the charity. Around £90 was raised in total.

The children had a great week and received visits from Mr Stephen Crook, headteacher of St Paul’s School in Nelson, Dylan Hornsby the builder from Barnfield Construction, Nelson Fire Station’s firefighters and Peter the Postman from the Royal Mail.
