Police have closed a major road leading into Colne due to flooding this evening.
It is believed a water mains has burst at the roundabout in Burnley Road, close to the Asda store, so it has now been closed to traffic.
Motorists have been advised to find an alternative route and avoid the area while the problem is dealt with.
