Foulridge school's hospice cash handover

Charitable staff, pupils and parents at St Michael's and All Angels CE Primary School in Foulridge have raised £418 in aid of Pendleside Hospice by hosting an open day in July and fund-raising during harvest festival in September.

Headteacher Mrs Hilary Wood said: “Everyone has done a fantastic job fund-raising and supporting Pendleside Hospice.

“A student who left us to go to high school this time had a relative who used the hospice services so the open day was for her and during Harvest our pupils held a toy swap which raised more money.”
