Get set for the great Christmas Winter Wander

And anyone who wishes to join in the three mile festive walk around Padiham on Saturday, December 10th, is asked to register as soon as possible.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Padiham and Pendleside Hospice hundreds of families take part in the event to raise funds, encourage community spirit and spread a little Christmas nagic.

The walk will be marshalled by elves and santa suits will be provided for adults and reindeer antlers and red noses for the children.

Registration opens at 9am at Shuttleworth College on Burnley Road and the walk begins at 10am. Depending on pace it is expected to take two hours.

Everyone will be rewarded with a little Christmas treat and elves will be handing out goodies along the route.

There will also be stalls in the town hall and an appearance by Father Christmas.
