Got Talent? Pendle needs you!

Do you have the voice of an angel or think you can dance better than Michael Jackson?

Whatever your talent, it is needed for the Pendle’s Got Talent competition which will be held at Barrowford Show on Sunday, August 28th.

After the success of last year’s “B-Factor” organisers of the show have decided to host Pendle’s Got Talent, which will open the door to a wider variety of acts.

But to ensure the competition will go ahead, a sufficient amount of applications will need to be submitted - however the chance to perform in front of an audience is an opportunity many aspiring artists will not want to miss!

Organisers are looking for anyone with talent - from musicians to jugglers, or just somebody with that something special.

The show will take place on the August Bank Holiday weekend and will feature a medley of different attractions for visitors, including a guest appearance from Bertie Bee and Burnley Football Club accompanied by the Clarets dance team who are all providing entertainment.

Furthermore, on top of all the other attractions there will also be a childrens’ fancy dress competition and a mini-disco competition and organisers are keen to get entrants to the childrens’ pet section and the tug of war competition.

And much to the public’s delight Horticulture is back by popular demand, kindly sponsored by Salterforth Nurseries.

Entry forms for all classes can be found on the website.

All Pendle’s Got Talent entries must be submitted by Friday, August 19th, visit to download the entry form and send to Barrowford Show, Barrowford Council Offices, Gisburn Road, Barrowford or via e-mail to
