Hundreds attended a police fun day at Holt House Playing Fields in Colne aiming to build relationships with the public and other parties.
Police dogs and horses were on show, as was high-tech CCTV equipment police use at events such as football matches and police had uniforms that children could dress up in.
On top of that, the police had a 4x4 vehicle for youngsters to sit in, the fire service provided an engine to wow them further and there were body zorbs and balance bikes provided by Pendle Leisure Trust as well as a bouncy castle inside a huge marquee where singing and dance activities took place.
PCSO Trish Thompson said: “It was absolutely fantastic. We’ve spoken to so many people who said they had a brilliant time.
“The rugby club ran out of food, we had hundreds and hundreds down. It was an event to bring together the community and let people know what we do and show how we work.”
