Ice machine causes building fire in Pendle

A small fire in a commercial property in Barley Lane, Barley, was caused by an ice machine.

Crews from Burnley and Nelson extinguished the fire yesterday evening.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Crews found a small fire involving an ice machine which they quickly extinguished using two breathing apparatus, thermal imaging camera, gas monitor and a ventilation unit. Crews were in attendance around 40 minutes."
