Colne driver's lukcy escape after tree collision

A COLNE driver had a lucky escape when his car collided into a tree.

The incident happened on Townhouse Road, Nelson, on Saturday at 6-30 p.m.

Police say the red Volkswagen Golf misjudged a sharp bend and hit a tree.

The three occupants were all treated at Royal Blackburn Hospital hospital with minor injuries.

The 25-year-old driver suffered minor cuts and his two passengers, bruising to the arms and shoulders.
