Colne murder trial is under way

TWO people have gone on trial at Preston Crown Court charged with the murder of a Pendle man.

Donna Harrison (34), of Beech Street, Padiham, and Wayne Mackie (40), of no fixed abode but formerly of Basil Street, Colne, are accused of the murder of Steven Sheppard at a house in Portland Street, Colne, in October last year.

Both defendants entered not guilty pleas at a hearing in December.
