Man in court after £10,0000 heroin seizure in Nelson

A 32-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Pennine magistrates after police were said to have found heroin worth £10,000 at a house in Nelson.

Raja Imran Khan, of Arthur Street, Nelson, is charged with possessing heroin with intent to supply. Officers were said to have seized drugs at a property in Chapel Street on Monday.

Khan’s case will be heard at the crown court and he will face committal proceedings on March 28th. He was remanded in custody until the video link court at Hyndburn on Wednesday.
