AN iconic Earby barn ripe for conversion is to be auctioned in Manchester in 11 days time.

The conversion opportunity at Bleara Moor Barn, off Coolham Lane, is exciting surveyors at property company Eddisons who are looking after the sale.

The auction will take place at the Premier Inn, Trafford Park, Manchester on Tuesday, February 26th from 12-30pm.

The barn has planning permission for conversion to a three bedroom property, with new access, and is being offered at a guide price of £175,000 plus. Occupying nearly nine acres in its rural location, around 600 metres from Earby, it is not expected to hang around.

Andrew Brown, of Eddisons, said: “It is extremely rare that a residential development opportunity such as this comes up at auction. It occupies a stunning location and has huge potential for conversion into a wonderful home, which I am sure will be reflected in the interest it receives.”

Eddisons is acting on the instructions of Keyland Developments Ltd, a sister company of Yorkshire Water.
