A BARNOLDSWICK beauty salon has just celebrated its fifth birthday and is expanding its services range in celebration.

As well as continuing to offer its range of therapies and massages, Elysium Urban Day Spa on Walmsgate has introduced a new concept to the business called the “Elysium Boutique” which provides the everyday girl with a celebrity makeover with hair and makeup for any occasion.

Elysium is becoming increasingly renowned for skincare specialism as the business introduced the celebrity endorsed Caci machine in late 2011, adding a new attachment this month to the piece of industry leading equipment.

In December, the spa was also awarded four star status by French skincare company Collin, and Laura hopes its onwards and upwards for her burgeoning beauty business.

She said: “The award is quite prestigious. There are a few retailers around the country but I believe we are at the first in Lancashire.

“I think it shows we are at the top of our game and people know they are going to get the right knowledge from staff and the right products.”

More information can be found at www.elysium.co.uk.
