A COLNE nursery school has been deep cleaned using a technique normally reserved for crime scenes.
Toddle In, in Brook Street, has received a visit from Unique Clean who have an accreditation from the national Academy of Crime Scene Cleaning.
The company blitzed the nursery with extra-strong chemicals designed to eliminate bacteria such as e-coli and MRSA.
Nursery owner Miss Jessica Webber said: “Even though we think we are really clean, we want to reassure parents that we are looking after their most precious thing – their child – in the best possible way.
“Obviously as a nursery we are caring for a vulnerable group and we want to make sure we are as clean as we can be.”
Mr Glenn Stock, director of Unique Clean, added: “The chemicals we use kill absolutely everything. This form of cleaning is going to be growing. You have to have qualifications from the National Academy of Crime Scene Cleaning to use these products.
“We cleaned everything, down to the children’s toys.”
