YOUNG entrepreneur, Bronagh Daly, has been appointed to champion three fund-raising appeals which will result in major improvements to facilities at Airedale Hospital.

Funds raised will be used to refurbish the hospital’s Endoscopy Unit and the Maternity Unit, and to build a new Accident and Emergency Department on the site.

Bronagh said: “We recieve many donations from members of the public whose friends and family are treated in our hospital. The three campaigns have been chosen as we are struggling to get the funds we need to carry out vital improvements, which will really benefit patient care.”

She will be working closely with the hospital’s charities - New Ventures and Friends of Airedale - and will be enlisting help from around 400 volunteers who help out in the hospital.

Bronagh is currently drawing up a calendar of fundraising events and activities and will be seeking corporate support from local businesses, recruiting more charitable donors and securing endorsement from local celebrities.

If you would like to make a donation, please visit www.justgiving.com/airedale/NHS/Donate. For more information on the fundraising events and how you can get involved, contact Bronagh Daly by emailing Bronagh.Daly@anhst.nhs.uk.
