Foulridge two turbine plan

A PLANNING application has been submitted to Pendle Council for the erection of two endurance wind turbines in Foulridge.

If accepted, the turbines, which would be located at Harwes Farm, in Black Lane Ends, would be an overall height of 34.2m.

According to the planning justification statement, visual impact would vary depending on the distance.

From the approach road to Harwes Farm looking north-west, both turbines would be visibly seen.

From Bleara Road looking south-west, both turbines will be visible just breaching the skyline.

From Skipton Old Road looking south-west, the turbines will be seen in isolation.

And from Hill Lane looking north-west to the site, it is expected that only the tip of the wind turbines will be seen.

Plans are scheduled for determination by officers using delegated powers.
