Get in shape for summer!

COLNE health, training and fitness entrepreneur Matthew Haworth of Inspire Health is launching a weekly summer fitness bootcamp to help get people in shape for weddings and holidays.

The Spring Lane-based health and fitness consultancy has been running successful weekly bootcamp sessions for a year, but from next Monday the sessions will be moving outdoor – and the focus won’t simply be on getting into shape before the wedding and holiday season is upon us.

Matthew said: “The summer bootcamp sessions will be a little bit different – our focus is on getting people to make exercise part of their routine, so the emphasis is on a fun workout to suit all abilities.

“Our approach is about creating a non-judgemental atmosphere, where people don’t just get fitter, they get more confidence too.

“Over the summer months, people think about hitting the beach on holidays and there are always weddings and social functions too – many people feel some social pressure to conform to certain body types, because of the pressure of advertising and celebrity culture.

“We go against this and urge people to think about a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise – if you can do that, the rest will take care of itself.

“So first and foremost, the summer bootcamp sessions have been devised to help people enjoy some good social exercise, but they’ll shed a few pounds and gain some and fitness along the way!”
