FEELING GREAT: Mother and daughter-in-law, Susan and Aleshea McIntosh, have lost a combined 11st. in weight.

A MOTHER and daughter are hoping they can be an inspiration to others after shedding a combined 11 stones.

Aleshea McIntosh and mother-in-law Susan from Worsthorne were so upset seeing themselves in party pictures that they took up a Weight Watchers challenge at the Rainhall Centre in Barnoldswick.

Since then, the duo have not looked back with Aleshea losing 6.5st. Susan dropping 4.5st.

As well as enjoying a slimmer look, Susan has pleased her doctor and is reaping the health benefits while Aleshea has rediscovered a love of fashion.

Aleshea has also found a new hobby in running and is so keen on keeping in shape, she is now a Weight Watchers leader at Rainhall Centre sessions on Wednesdays at 6pm and on Saturdays at 10-30am.

Aleshea said: “We are both proof that you can lose weight and keep it off and still enjoy life, including tempting times like summer holidays, birthdays and celebrations.”

Susan added: “I can’t begin to tell you how much better I feel as a result of losing 4.5 stones.

“From increased energy to loads more confidence; I’ve never felt better. I challenge all Barnoldswick residents to join me and feel fantastic.”

For further information on sessions, call Aleshea on 07504 979887 or ring 08457 123000 to find out about other meetings in the Burnley area.
