Pendle Wavelengths re-opens on Monday

THE swimming pool at Pendle Wavelengths re-opens on Monday following a facelift.
The pool area has been closed since the end of December to enable major refurbishment work to be carried out.
The work includes the installation of new changing rooms, showers and lockers; the waterslide has been refurbished and better changing facilities have been created for families and disabled customers.
Centre Manager at Pendle Wavelengths, Quammer Iqbal, said: “I know this work will have caused some inconvenience over the last couple of months, but I’m sure customers will agree it has been worth it.
“We have been waiting a long time for this refurbishment to improve the changing facilities in the pool area and now it has finally been done we are thrilled with the results.
“We are always looking at ways to improve our service and standards to benefit our customers and I’m sure they will see this refurbishment as a significant improvement.”
There will be giveaways and tours of the full facilities at Pendle Wavelengths when the pool area re-opens to the public on Monday.
