Traffic chaos in Laneshaw Bridge

TRAFFIC chaos in Laneshaw Bridge has not been caused by a road traffic collision, police have confirmed.

Reports of wagons and vehicles being at a complete standstill in Keighley Road has been described as “highway disruption”, after it was suggested on Twitter that the gridlock this morning was due to a “serious accident”.

The Mainline 25 bus route to Keighley was diverted via Skipton due to the disruption.

The comes after two tanks got stuck on a hill, in Keighley Road, at 5-45am this morning.

The Colne Times is waiting to hear back from Lancashire County Council, who are said to have been informed of the incident.
