UPDATE: Nelson man arrested following Colne RTC

A 38-YEAR-OLD driver from Nelson who was arrested following a road traffic collision in Colne has been released on bail until February 8th.

Three vehicles, a Vauxhall Vectra, a Vauxhall Astra and a Fiat Scudo, were damaged following the incident in Church Street on December 30th. Police were called to the scene at around 9-15pm.

The man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon — a wheel brace, and section 39 assault.
