RESIDENTS want the authorities to give them land on the Nelson-Colne boundary but developers are keen to build a new housing estate there.

Who should take charge f the land at Gib Hill which is at the centre of the tug of war.

Would it be best for residents to have access to the green space as a community facility - or do we need more new homes and the revenue they will generate locally?

Meeting over plans for 200 new homes in Colne

A COMMUNITY meeting has been called for Wednesday night to discuss a planning application to built 200 homes around the “sidings” off Knotts Lane in Colne.
