Would-be foster carers invited to meeting
COULD you consider offering a permanent home and family to a child who is not able to live with their birth family? Come along to Lancashire County Council’s information evening in Nelson to find out more.
People who have adopted will be there to share their experiences, and social workers will also be available to answer any questions you might have, talk you through the process and offer confidential advice.
The event will be held in Nelson Library on Monday from 6pm to 8pm with a slide show presentation at 6-15pm. There is free parking and disabled access.
You must be over 21 and living in Lancashire or close by, but whatever your race, gender, sexuality, living arrangements, age and employment status, the county council wants to hear from you.
