New NHS dental surgery opens in Barnoldswick
A NEW NHS dental surgery has opened its doors in Barnoldswick, meaning residents now have two surgeries to choose from.
Harrison Street Dental Care welcomes dentists Velislav Kolchev and Joanna Grabowska, who have transferred from Barnoldswick Dental Centre in Park Avenue - also part of the same dental group.
Area manager Sharon Newton said: "The practice was set up to increase access to a NHS dentist for the community in Barnoldswick, and we are working closely with NHS East Lancashire to ensure anyone who needs NHS treatment, whether routine or urgent, can get it when they need it."
Located in the town centre, it offers a full range of NHS dental services, as well as orthodontics, sedation, minor oral surgery and in-hours urgent access. A range of private, cosmetic treatments are available on request.
Harrison Street practice has 500 registered patients, but there are plenty more places and NHS East Lancashire is encouraging people to register by calling 817053.
