Police hunt Spar shop thief

Police want to question him in conection with the theft of cold meats and cheese valued at £30 from the Spar store in Netherfield Road, Nelson, on January 17th.

The offender is said to have made his way to the cold meat section of the shop and placed the items in a carrier bag.

He was challenged by a member of staff and replaced some of the items, but not all, and left the store without paying for the rest.
