The students were from Year eights to 11s and they were a mixture of novice and experienced skiiers who had spent two days at Ski Rossendale in the build up to their trip.

“A lot of students also went in their own time to Ski Rossendale to ensure they got the maximum out of their holiday,” said Year Seven Leader with Transition Lindsay Bleazard.

“This was highlighted with Dylan Smith who had never skied on snow before the holiday being nominated the best skier in the top group. He turned out to be a natural!

“The children were a credit to the school and had an amazing week. Max Ingham told his mum it had been the best week of his life and wanted to stay for longer.”

“It wasn’t just skiing there was bingo, swimming, bowling, a quiz and an Easter Service - they had a great time,”

The students were based in Zell am See and travelled by coach and ferry for the six day break.
