Campaign launched to save Colne Cricket Club

Members of Colne Cricket Club are urging Pendle residents to get behind them as they launch a “Save Our Ground” campaign.

The future of the Byron Road clubhouse is in serious jeopardy after a series of break-ins, spiralling costs and falling numbers of spectators have left them £100,000 in debt.

The club, which is the oldest club in the Lancashire League, are asking locals to “pledge a pound to save our ground”.
