Pub landlord Mark Davies was captured by the Dyche mural - painted by Jones in celebration of Burnley's successful Championship campaign which culminated in promotion - and got in touch to commission his own slice of Burnley history.

Jimmy McIlroy played for the club for 13 seasons in the 1950s and 60s, during which he made 497 appearances for the club, scoring 131 goals and winning the First Division in 1959/60 with the club - the second of their two league titles.

Inducted into the Hall of Fame at the National Football Museum in Manchester in 2014, McIlroy was awarded the Freedom of Burnley in 2008 and received his MBE on the pitch at Turf Moor in 2011.
