Final Burnley vs Cancer raises £4,000 for Pendleside Hospice

Glamorous guests packed the James Hargreaves Suite at Turf Moor for an Oscars-themed Hollywood night to remember.

Gambling tables, awards and red carpets brought glitz and glamour to the prestigious evening but the undoubted winner on the night was the charity.

Across the three events, organisers have raised more than £12,000 for a number of cancer charities and Lauren Fallows, who came up with the idea for Burnley Vs Cancer with her dad John, said: “We would like to thank everyone who’s been involved in anyway.

“Our aim was to raise as much money as possible as well as capturing what’s best about Burnley. I think we have done that.”
