Flat Cap Pack's winning ditty

The Flat Cap Pack performed their ditty at the recent Padiham on Parade event and social media viewings have since gone “astronomical”.

Founder member Eric Beardsworth, from Foulridge, said: “I wrote the lyrics to the song recently which are a light-hearted Mickey take on our rivals from down the road.

“We put the video on our Facebook page and the viewings have gone astronomical. We are now searching for a title for the song.”

Each line of the song spells out the cheeky nickname supporters have for the Ewood Park outfit, which can’t be repeated in a family newspaper.

Eric and his bandmates Brian Norris, of Padiham, and Liam Husband, of Colne, claim to be local lads who “put the Lancashire into Las Vegas” with their unique take on Rat Pack favourites.
