After raging successes in 2014, when the dress code took on a Las Vegas theme, and 2015, when the classic gangster speakeasy was the genre, this year’s event will see attendees tap into their inner glam ahead of an Oscars-based Hollywood red carpet-style evening.

The event, which takes place on Friday, June 24th, in the James Hargreaves Suite at Turf Moor, will also host a professional gambling company who will wheel out a range of games tables to be accompanied by the fantastic 10-piece band, The Soul Convicts, as well as food, a photographer and a videographer.

There will also be a range of prizes to be won ahead of the usual exclusive after-party at Illuminati in Hammerton Street, Burnley, which will continue into the early hours.

The evening has once again been organised by accountant John Fallows, whose business is in Lyndhurst Road, Burnley, and his daughter Lauren, an English teacher at St Wilfrid’s Academy, Blackburn.

In honour of their last ever event, Burnley Vs Cancer have teamed up with Ellis’s Milkshakes in Standish Street, who will be selling two bespoke cocktails inspired by and named after Hollywood superstars, the proceeds from which will go to Pendleside Hospice.

With sponsorship packages available, businesses wishing to get involved can contact Burnley Vs Cancer, while tickets are available on Twitter (@burnleyvscancer), on 07966787222 or by calling in at John Fallows Accountants in Lyndhurst Road, Burnley.
