Man pulled knife on neighbour in street row

A Nelson man admitted pulling a knife on his neighbour in a row in the street.

Mark James Bell was said to have brandished the kitchen knife before shouting and swearing in Harold Street, Colne, last year.

The defendant (40), of Camden Street, then damaged a Vauxhall Astra during the incident on June 15th last year, Burnley Crown Court heard.

Bell pleaded guilty to possessing a bladed article in a public place, criminal damage and a public order offence.

He was granted bail pending the completion of a pre-sentence report.

The defendant will be sentenced on February 18th.

He was ordered not to contact named individuals
