Stole from Next to pay off drugs debt
A woman stole children's clothing worth £100 from Burnley Next to pay off a drugs debt.
Burnley magistrates were told how Diane Caswell (41) had a long record for shoplifting and in the past had stolen to feed her addiction.
The defendant, of Sandhurst Street, Burnley, admitted theft on February 26th.
She was given a six week curfew, 7pm – 7am, seven days a week. David Lawson (defending) said she had money problems due to a previous drug debt.
She had been engaging with Inspire.
