Vigil held to remember Orlando shooting victims

Mourners gathered in Burnley's Peace Garden today to remember the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting.

The vigil was organised by the East Lancashire LGBT to raise awareness of hate crime and pay tribute to those who lost their lives.

Burnley MP Julie Cooper spoke to those assembled and prayers were led by the Rev. Mark Williams from St Matthew's Church in Burnley.

Members of the LGBT community and Burnley Council lit candles after the service.
