Staff from several medical departments talked with around 30 Year 10 and 11 students about their roles including physiotherapy, pathology, radiology and infection control.

The students also took the chance to identify bacteria using laboratory microscopes, try out physiotherapy equipment, meet a junior doctor and learn more about a career as an X-Ray technician.

“It was a great experience for the students who got the chance to talk to medical professionals about their jobs in various departments including audiology, occupational therapy and pharmacy and also see the range of career opportunities in a hospital,” said Ms Hart, Careers Guidance Advisor.

“At Blessed Trinity we make sure our students get the best guidance on the next step in their lives.”
