A Burnley model has set her sights on becoming Miss England, but first hopes to raise plenty of money for charity.

Layla Griffiths (25) is organising an online raffle to raise money for the Miss World official charity, Beauty With a Purpose, which helps disadvantaged young people around the globe.

The former Hameldon College and Burnley College students, who now works as a full-time model in Manchester, said: "I am really looking forward to the competition and hopefully raising lots of money for this very worthy charity.

"I will next compete at the Miss Genting Stoke heat on April 13th, and hopefully then in the Miss England finals which will be held in Birmingham in July."

Layla's raffle is to win a professional photography day.
