Colne star Natalie Gumede will find out this afternoon whether she is able to dance in tomorrow’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Coronation Street actress, who was born in Burnley, suffered a back injury on Tuesday - putting her future on the BBC programme in jeopardy.
She had fallen over while practising the quickstep with Artem Chigvintsev and yesterday had to spend time receiving treatment.
This morning she tweeted: “Well that was a scary 72 hours! An epidural, steroid and nerve block injections and some lovely painkillers later &..... I’m saddling up for a canter around the paddock with @artemchigvintse today and will hopefully get the all clear this afternoon to.... Dance tomorrow. Thanks for all your well wishes from the bottom of my heart! Strictly fans are the best! Xxxx”
Natalie (29) topped last week’s leaderboard with her captivating rumba, and is the hot favourite to win the coveted glitterball trophy.
