Nelson cousins meet TV stars

Theo Holden and Maisie and Megan Dobson seized the opportunity to meet with Britain’s Got Talent’s Boogie Storm and Jack P. Shepherd, who plays David Platt in Coronation Street, when the switch was flicked at The Mall.

Nine-year-olds Theo and Maisie, who are in the same class at Holy Saviour RC Primary School in Nelson, travelled to the shopping centre with 16-year-old Megan and the girls’ mum Nicola Dobson, on a mission to meet the stars.

While Maisie and Megan were most excited to meet Corrie’s Jack, Theo was over the moon to shake hands with the Simon Cowell signed dancing stormtroopers.

Nicola said: “We found out that Boogie Storm and Jack P Shepherd would be here in The Mall three weeks ago and Theo, Maisie and Megan have not stopped talking about it.

“Maisie told Jack she was his biggest fan and Theo was beaming from ear to ear when he was talking to the stormtroopers. It was well worth the trip and we have all had a fantastic day.”
