A drink driver who was stopped after “evidence of bad driving” has been banned for 14 months.
Barry Green (59) gave a blood test showing 93 micrograms of alcohol – the legal limit is 80. Green, of Hollins Road, Nelson, admitted a drink drive-related allegation on Barkerhouse Road, Nelson, on March 19th.
Green, who told the bench his car was now locked up in a garage, was fined £120, with £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge. The unemployed defendant was offered the drink drivers’ rehabilitation course.
