There were some ghoulish goings on in a Nelson park on Hallowe’en when a nursery hosted a spooktacular event.
Walton Lane Nursery hosted the special Hallowe’en party in Marsden Park and many families turned out to have some fun with a range of eerie activities and ghostly games to be enjoyed alongside food and refreshments.
Deputy headteacher of the centre, Angela Woodward, said: “It is so good to see local people enjoying the community events which we provide throughout the year. We didn’t expect this turn out, it was amazing.
“Many parents have commented that bringing their children to an organised event is a safer way of them enjoying and join in Hallowe’en.”
Walton Lane Nursery’s next event will be a Christmas themed one on Saturday, December 3rd from 11am until 2pm.
The day will provide fun for all the family and there will be Christmas crafts to make, as well as burgers, chips, hot chocolate, games and prizes.
