One thousand fundraisers take part in Pendle Pub Walk
The villages around Pendle Hill were a sea of yellow on Saturday as a thousand happy fund-raisers took part in the sixth annual Pendle Pub Walk.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Burnley Pendleside and supporting Pendleside Hospice, the 14-mile, 13-pub walk is on target to break all previous fund-raising efforts.
The two-route walk set off from either the Pendle Inn, Barley, or the Sparrow Hawk, Fence, and took in country pubs in Blacko, Higherford, Barrowford, Fence, Higham, Barley and Roughlee.
