LETTER: Searching for info on roller skating champion

AS a local historian I am seeking the help of readers for information about Joy Sugden.

She lived at 37 Briercliffe Road and in the 1940s her name was a household word.

She was a very successful roller skating champion.

My last reference for her was in the Burnley Express on April 2nd, 1952.

Did she marry? Did she move abroad? If you know, please write to me.
