Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire in the kitchen of a property in Ribchester Avenue.
Two fire engines from Burnley were called to the incident yesterday lunchtime (Thursday). Luckily, no one was injured.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Two fire engines from Burnley were called to a fire in a kitchen of a property on Ribchester Avenue, Burnley.
"Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported."
