Portraits of pooches produced some paw-fect pictures in a Colne pet shop’s annual competition.
Stell’s Famous Pet Store invited Skipton-based photographer Colin Marshall to set up a studio in the shop where he pictured the public’s dogs.
After a public vote, a judging panel headed by Stell’s owner Mr Peter Jagger chose Edward Peasey’s miniature schnauzer “Ruby” as the overall winner.
Mr Jagger said: “Colin is a very talented photographer and he captured some brilliant pictures of some very cute dogs. It sounds like a cliche but it really was difficult to choose a winner.”
Mr Peasey will now receive a large framed photograph of Ruby.
