Over 100 people attended a memorial event at Foulridge reservoir on Wednesday night on the second anniversary of James Goodship’s death.

Pink balloons were released into the sky and family and friends dressed in pink to remember James (17).

The pink theme was organised as James was known for his love of wearing pink socks.

Those attending gathered near to the sailing club to pay their respects to the teenager who tragically died in the reservoir on June 22nd, 2014.

Park High School also remembered James on Wednesday when pupils could wear one pink item for a £1 donation, with all proceeds going to Royal Life Saving Society UK.
