Police recover stolen £25,000 Audi in Barrowford

Police completed the recovery of a stolen vehicle in Burnsall Place, Barrowford, last Thursday at approximately 10-45am.

The white Audi A5 worth £25,000 had been stolen in Derbyshire a fortnight earlier and police cornered it in the location.

Two men from the Bolton area driving the Audi were arrested and have been bailed by police pending further investigations.

A further three men, also from the Bolton area, suspected of being involved in the theft of the vehicle were arrested nearby in Barrowford. They have also been bailed by police.

Pendle neighbourhood officers PC Fiona Hall, PC Rik Clough and PC Brian Magee have been singled out for praise for their work alongside specialist car recovery officers.
