Pendle Powerfest is this Sunday and it set to be the biggest and best yet.

The trio of Italian Job Minis are just one part of what promises to be a packed day out of 250 dream vehicles to view, including Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

There will be face painting, BMX demonstrations, Zorbs and live music as well.

Stock Car and Speedway fans will be served up a treat with an anticipated appearance of Frankie Wainman Senior and his winning car and land speed legend Mike Newman will also appear, who holds eight land and water world speed records for the blind.

Film and television fans can make a beeline for the Mad Max Interceptor, which will making its first ever showing, alongside iconic vehicles from Knight Rider, The A-Team, Dad’s Army and Wallace and Gromit.

And for visitors new to Pendle, classic buses will be on running hourly through the local countryside to the Pendle Inn, Barley - a popular beauty spot.

Chris said: “It is really important to us that we cater equally for petrol heads and families.

“So, while there will be lots of exciting vehicles to look at for a motor enthusiast, there will also be lots of things to do for the family.

“The way we look at it is that Pendle Powerfest is a family day out based around a love of vehicles.”
