The Quit Squad, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust’s stop smoking service, is encouraging smokers in Pendle to get in touch and set a quit date to get 2015 off to a healthy start!

Julie Trezise, Quit Squad Manager, said: “It is important that people set themselves realistic and achievable targets to get the most out of their quitting plan.

“People who access NHS stop smoking services are four times more likely to quit than will power alone.

“Contacting the Quit Squad means people have the support they need when they need it.

“The team are on hand to provide a range of advice and support tailored to the individual.

“Even if you didn’t start at the beginning of January, now is still a great time to make a decision to change and with our help you can have the best possible outlook for a healthier and smokefree 2015!”
