Earby student Callum Watterson could be the next Brooklyn Beckham after appearing on a television show about modelling.

Park Primary School pupil Callum (11) appeared on “The Tiny Tots Talent Agency” on Channel 4, a four part series which goes behind the scenes at Bizzykidz talent agency to “meet kids with stars in their eyes”.

Someone has already said he looks like Brooklyn Beckham – but he wants to make his own name.

Callum’s mum Alfie

Callum got into modelling by sending a cheeky selfie to an agency without telling parents Lee and Andrea, who is known as Alfie, but they haven’t looked back in a whirlwind year which could end with Callum going to Los Angeles.

“When he was 10, he got on the computer and sent a selfie to an agency after seeing an advert,” said mum Alfie, who also has son Tayler (13).

“They got back in touch and we ended up going to London and paying for a portfolio.

“We needed to find an agent and we ended up at Bizzykids, which is the top childrens agency in London.

“Channel 4 were doing the documentary on children trying to break through into modelling and Callum was one of the ones they followed for the series.

“It was great, they filmed us in Earby, in London and in Manchester as it was about the models at home and with their families. It was such a great thing to do.”

Callum, who has just started musical theatre at the Pendle Hippodrome Theatre and who is also learning to dance at Encore Dance School in Colne, has since seen his acting and modelling career take off.

“He got down to the last four for the stage show of ‘The Full Monty’ which is doing a tour of the UK, there were also 40 boys auditioning for an Adidas advert for JD Sports and Callum was chosen so his face will be in the sports shop all over the UK,” continued his mum.

“He is the lead role in a short film ‘Harry and Grace’ in Manchester and has been to Oxford as he has been cast as one of the children in Rita Petrini’s book ‘Through the Curtain of Time and Space’ which is being made into a film.

“He will be Scotland in June filming this and will also go to Los Angeles to film part of it as well.

“It’s so exciting with everything that’s happened and it’s weird but great to see him on television.
